Welcome to the country everywhere industry dashboard. Here you will be able to update all your profile details, submit news, events and resources live to the site, and link to your Live Profile page.
Let's get started with the Account Info tab First thing you'll want to do is add an image, click the choose an image button, then choose a file from your computer If your file is not already in the one to one ratio like a social media profile, this program will crop it for you.
Please make sure to add alt text for all your images. We want this site to be as accessible to as many users as possible, and using alt text allows screen readers to read out the image description. To give an idea for my alt text, I've used Caucasian man in a blue sweater with arms folded.
The name here will be whatever name you use to sign up with. However, it can be changed at any time. One of the benefits of passwordless login is that it does not rely on usernames, only a valid email address.
Next, you can add pronouns and organization, if applicable.
Choose one or more of the communities you belong to. Note that this is a requirement to be listed in the directory. Add a contact name and a contact email. This is the email we will use to reach out to you with information or important site updates. This can be the same email you signed up with or can becompletely different.
If you check this checkbox any visitor who comes to the site can send you a secure email. Note the email address is not made public and you can change this option at any time.You can also select the email address that you would prefer that these kind of messages go to. From here, you can either discard or save your changes. Once you have saved your changes, you will see a quick refresh of the screen and that is how that you know your changes have been saved.profile details

Let's take a look at the Profile details tab. Note you do need to fill out bio occupation and location information in this tab in order for your profile to show up in the directory.
First, choose one or more occupations, ideally no more than four. You want to highlight the things you are best stat not everything you do Occupation is a main tab in search and people using it will be looking for solid skills in whatever occupations you choose.
Next, choose your primary occupation in the directory listing. This is what will be displayed in the directory. Please write a short bio. Quick tip if you want to set and forget your profile, make it more a general bio. Think Wikipedia and avoid things like releasing soon or dates upcoming. Also short and sweet is the ticket here. There is no option for paragraph breaking at this time. If you are cutting and pasting, there may be characters that don't transfer well. So make sure to check your live profile page to see how it looks available for is an optional field for you to specify work you wish to be hired or contracted for. This is an open field. Use commas to separate different jobs and remember, leave the comma off the end otherwise you will see a blank space in your profile.
For the location, please add the zip and postal code because this will allow us in future to add a geolocation type search filter This will be useful for people wanting to work with others or search for gigs happening in their area. Let's save here for good measure. Note any time you make changes, you can save your progressperformer / musicians

First, choose a genre or genres for the styles of music. At Country Everywhere, we recognize that country music comes from a melting pot of genres. So we have many choices that you will not see on other sites. Because this is a main search feature, you want to choose the genres that fit you the best. Ideally, no more than three or four.
If you have a genre or genres that are not listed, place them in the genre's other field. Remember to comma separate the genres here and do not add a comma to the last genre.
If you are listed as a band, place the names of your bandmembers here. Again, comma separate your band members and do not place a comma onthe last band member.
For the instruments section, choose any instruments you play and wish to be searched for. It is important that you only list instruments that you are proficient in. If you play an instrument not listed, use the other instruments field and place the instrument or instruments here. Comma separated again like the previous fields.
For the people you have worked with field list as many or as few as you want. This optional field is a bit of a social proof and resume builder right on your profile page. This shows up on your profile page, so keep your list limited to a maximum of five people following the same comma separated rules as before and not placing a comma on the last person.
The influences.Field is an opportunity for you to help a user understand your sound without listening to any of your music first. It is an important discovery tool when people are searching for artists or musicians with a similar sound that they are looking for. As before, once you have made your changes, you can say discard or save.Website & Links

For the website and links tab country everywhere is designed to be the first point of discovery for folks using the site. To that end we've provided a lot of Link options that appear on the top of your profile page this allows the user to discover everything publicly about you in one place.
For the most part this tab is pretty self-explanatory you'll note the URL and web addresses please follow the instructions and add the https colon double slash to the start. If you cut and paste from your web browser this information should already be present.
Let's talk about YouTube playlists because your profile is designed to be mostly hands off we use a YouTube playlist that you can easily update via YouTube and those changes will be automatic to the site. Unlike the website address here we only require the playlist ID the playlist ID is the part that immediately follows list= in the web browser address bar it often starts with PL but it could have other letters associated with it and is subject to change. So use the guide of the list= and whatever follows that to the end of the URL.
For your Spotify playlist ID use the I artist ID at the end of the URL and we use this to embed the Spotify artist playlist so if that changes it will automatically change on the site as well.
For this last section for event listings we have the option for bands in town or songkick now you can use both if they are serving different audiences or you can just show one on the profile by leaving one blank for the bands in town events listing use the name listed as your artist's name on the account and as well for the songkick events listing use the ID for your account.
Keep in mind if you want to check out any of this you can go to your live profile right from your dashboard and you can test everything so you should be able to see your Spotify embed your YouTube embed and your bands in town or songkick embeds. One quick thing to note is you don't have to fill out all of this information at once. Once you have made a change you have the option to either discard or save changes. I can continue to make changes here and save at the end and I can choose at any time to just save my changes and they will be saved and then I can continue filling in the rest.
