Long Island’s The Belle Curves, lead by Delaney Hafener, specialize in a dreamy, cosmic Americana that is as much new wave and punk as it is country music. Hafener gives her songs an airy touch, creating a gauzy sound that could fit comfortably in any postwar decade. On the band’s new song “Private Oceans,” Hafener gives a commanding performance.
