I’ve been writing about music and pop culture in general since 2005. Currently I edit the books section at Blogcritics.org, contribute to Qantara.de and have just published a long form article in Rainbow Rodeo about the intersection of Queercore and Country music. I had a feature length article published in Rolling Stone, written two commissioned books for Ulysses Press and wrote a number of reviews for Country Queer magazine. I live in Kingston Ontario Canada with my feral accomplice Alys and our cat Frida.
